About Karen J. Weyant
I am the author of two poetry chapbooks, Stealing Dust (Finishing Line Press) and Wearing Heels in the Rust Belt (the winner of Main Street Rag’s 2011 chapbook contest). My work can be found in 5 AM, Barn Owl Review, Cave Wall, Coal Hill Review, Copper Nickel, Fourth River, Harpur Palate and River Styx. I have been honored with a New York Foundation for the Arts poetry fellowship and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities. My primary writing, teaching, and research interests involve working-class literature, education, and issues.
